By booking through Cosmic Cabs, you agree to a minimum 3-day rental period. All rentals are self-drive and subject to availability from verified fleet partners across Goa.
You must hold a valid driving licence and be at least 21 years of age.
Vehicle assignment may occur after payment. Your booking confirmation will include the assigned fleet partner and handover details.
Cosmic Cabs provides an online platform to search, quote, and book self-drive vehicles from independent fleet partners. We do not own or supply the vehicles.
Your fleet partner's handover documents form the rental agreement for the vehicle itself. Cosmic Cabs facilitates booking, payment of the online advance, and support coordination.
A portion of your rental is paid online at checkout through Razorpay, our certified payment partner. The remaining balance and refundable security deposit are settled directly with your fleet partner at vehicle handover.
Online payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in these terms or your booking confirmation.
Quotes shown before checkout include applicable location fees, night surcharges, and GST where relevant. Final amounts are confirmed in your booking summary.
Cancellation terms are summarised at checkout and in your booking confirmation. Contact your fleet partner or Cosmic Cabs support promptly if your travel plans change.
Before payment: you may cancel at no charge.
After you pay: if you cancel, the online advance is non-refundable.
If your fleet partner or Cosmic Cabs cancels the booking, the online advance is refunded to your original payment method.
No-shows may result in cancellation without refund.
A refundable security deposit is collected by your fleet partner at pickup. After return and a condition check, the deposit is refunded per the partner's policy — typically within a few business days. Deductions may apply for damage, missing accessories, traffic violations, tolls, or fuel shortfall as documented at handover.
You are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, including traffic violations, tolls, and fuel unless otherwise stated. Return the vehicle in the same condition as documented at pickup, subject to fair wear.
Vehicles must not be used for racing, off-road driving outside permitted areas, sub-letting, or commercial hire unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Insurance coverage, if any, is provided by your fleet partner and disclosed at handover. You are responsible for safe operation and compliance with traffic laws.
Report accidents, theft, breakdowns, or damage to your fleet partner and Cosmic Cabs support without delay. Do not admit fault or settle third-party claims without partner guidance where applicable.
By proceeding with checkout, you consent to Cosmic Cabs sharing your name, phone number, and email with the assigned fleet partner for booking coordination, handover, and support during your rental.
Partners may contact you regarding pickup timing, vehicle condition, extensions, and return arrangements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cosmic Cabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your rental or use of the platform.
Our total liability for a booking is limited to the online amount you paid through Cosmic Cabs for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify Cosmic Cabs against claims arising from your use of the vehicle, traffic violations, damage caused by you, or breach of these terms.
Neither Cosmic Cabs nor fleet partners are responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government orders, strikes, or infrastructure failures.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.
